“In this state of Isläm, if we have a quarrel with somebody after the afternoon prayer, we must make peace, and embrace each other by the time of the early evening prayer.
“Any evil influences created must be thrown away before the next time of prayer.
“We must ask God for forgiveness for the faults we committed and strive for repentance.
“For what is happening now, during this very breath, we must glorify His name.
“And we must surrender to God the next breath, the next time of prayer to come.
“Whether or not we are alive in the next moment is Alläh’s will.
“May His will be fulfilled.
“If we have this faith with perfect certitude, if we have this intention with every breath, if we can acquire His qualities and His actions, then that is the state of Isläm lived by true believers.

“To be in Isläm is to have absolute faith in Alläh, to know the Rabb, the Almighty Lord, to bow down at His feet, pray to Him, and adopt His ways.
“To be in Isläm is to have certitude in the messengers of God, the prophets, and the angels, and to carry out the commandments sent through them.
“Isläm is to discard from ourselves whatever God has discarded from Himself.
“It is to accept Him, His three thousand gracious qualities, and His ninety-nine wiläyats, attributes, to bring them into our actions, and to do His service.
“To have this absolute faith, certitude, and determination, and to strengthen that ïmän is the true meaning of Isläm”.

“For those of us who have faith in God alone, there is only one teaching.
“Whatever religion we belong to, whether it be Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Christianity, Judaism, or Isläm, and whatever prayers we say, what is it that we are really searching for?
“Only one thing—that Treasure which is God.
“Those who have no faith need many things in this world.
“They find satisfaction in unjust actions, political disturbances, jealousy, deceit, selfishness, and pride.
“But those who search for these things will never find peace or equality.
“They lead a life without unity, justice, or peace.
“That is their hell, and they make this endless hell their life.
“However, any society that recognizes the one God and holds nothing equal to Him, any society that holds onto that one Truth, worshipping Him, praying to Him, and surrendering to Him— any society that has reached that state of understanding needs only one Master.
“The people of such a society need only God, His qualities, His actions, His conduct, His grace, His patience, and His compassion.
“What else is there that matters?
