“Man has begun to destroy the world.

“Man’s mind and his thoughts have begun to destroy it.

“Men in the past had faith in God — determination, certitude, and īmān — and they gave it the name “prayer.”  

“They prayed as many groups, in so many ways.  

“They exhibited compassion, love, peacefulness, tranquility, equality, and mercy towards the living beings in the world. 

“With those qualities, they gave peace to the world, to themselves, and to other lives in the world.  

“Everyone had peace and tranquility.  

“Due to the state and the thoughts of those who were unfailing in justice on the path of integrity, God has been watching and checking the time, the destruction, and the state belonging to destruction. 

“As long as the good state still exists, He will make the world prosperous and beautiful.  

“He will make the world wealthy, He will make the world heaven, He will make the world into the world of God.  

“This has been given to each heart, to each qalb.  

“That heaven exists in every qalb.  

“That peace, that justice, and that integrity are there.  

“We must be aware of this. 

“How will destruction come?  

“What is causing destruction?

“I have worked at many jobs.

“I have been a baker, a laundryman, once I worked as a slave.

“I have also practiced medicine.

“I have exorcised demons and taught divine knowledge.

“I have done many different jobs, yet while I was doing all this I have never failed to carry out God’s commands.  

“I do God’s work, and when I leave here I will continue to do His work.  

“I do God’s work, but I also do the world’s work, the world that you, my children, need.  

“I teach only what I know and what I have experienced, only what I have learned from personal experience.  

“If I have not profited from a particular thing, I do not teach it.  

“Since I taste every ingredient of the food, if it is poisonous I will not offer it to you, if it has a sweet taste I will recommend it.  

“Once I have tested, examined and discarded the wrong poisonous things from my own experience I give you the best tasting food. 

“My children, every word I utter comes from my personal experience. 

“If I tried to offer you something I have not experienced it would be like information found in a book, it would be of no use to you, it would be doubtful.  

“What I give you is the wisdom and knowledge of my experience so that it will be useful to you in this world;

“One who has performed the five furüd, obligatory duties, (Correctly) will have received eternal life in this very life itself.

“He will have received the treasure of faith within faith, ïmän within ïmän, and prayer within prayer.

“In his prayer, he will have received the grace of Alläh, exalted be His name.

“He will have received this treasure of charity within charity. 

“In fasting, he will have received the steadfast heart that never fails.  

“In hajj, the holy pilgrimage, he will have received the treasure that has cut him away from birth and death. 

“If the five furüd are done (Correctly) in this (State of) ïmän-Isläm, he will have received all these treasures in his life. 

“These are the furüd of the rules of Isläm.  

“This is the meaning within and without.  

“May Alläh, exalted be His name, help us to do this (Correctly).
